Message of the painting:
Sometimes, we are told that life is a blank canvas, an unspoilt white waiting for our brush. An ideal, simple beginning, where every colour can be applied without having to reckon with the past. But the truth is more complex.
Often, the canvas of our existence is not white at all. Layers of colour we did not choose have already been deposited on it: brushstrokes of other people's expectations, stains of painful experiences, opaque backgrounds of habits that no longer belong to us.
We may feel trapped in a work that does not represent us, believing that the only way out is to tear up the canvas and start from scratch.
But this is where the most profound art is born: not the art of beginning, but the art of transformation.
And the painting you see is the perfect example of this process.
On one side, Blue. It is the colour of depth, calm and reason. It represents a masculine, structured and contemplative energy. It is the night sky, the calm sea.
On the other hand, there is green. It is the colour of growth, fertility and the heart. It symbolises a feminine, luxuriant and vital energy. It is the forest, springtime, the bud seeking the light.
Between these two worlds, between these two distinct energies, there is a miraculous meeting point: white flowers.
These flowers are bridges and alchemists. With their purity (white), they do not deny separation, but turn it into dialogue. Their roots sink into both blue and green, drawing nourishment from both. Their petals open in the space between, creating a new language made of delicacy and resilience.
They are the flowers of conscious transformation. They represent the choice not to erase what we were (separate blue and green), but to weave a higher connection. They are the decision to let beauty bloom right there!
